This wok has been a pleasure to cook with, when used properly with adequate oil nothing sticks to it and it’s a breeze to clean. I use it primarily on an electric stove on a burner slightly larger than the wok itself so the edges of the burner where contact isn’t being made still heats the sides to replicate how a large flame would heat the sides. Bottom is flat so no issues with rocking or imbalance. While I’m sure that there are hotspots, since every pot and pan has them, they aren’t at all noticeable and cook evenly. Bottom is searing, sides are hot.Rice doesn’t stick, meat doesn’t stick, veggies don’t stick, nothing I’ve tried yet has stuck. Additionally there are reviews that claim to have issues with chipping and after fairly extensive use on a wide variety of dishes I haven’t experienced this. My assumption is that those folks either didn’t finish the seasoning, aren’t using enough oil or are scraping the crap out of the body with metal utensils, all things that would be a problems regardless of which one you purchase. As for weight while it’s not the lightest it is easy enough to handle with a single hand for tossing, distributing oil or manipulating. I think the tradeoff of what is gained in durability definitely makes up for the slight increase in weight compared to some other woks.

I have to round off the edges a bit. It’s a very nice wok. It’s also a bit heavy for its size.

my only criticism to this Wok is that the handle has a little movement to it. It doesn’t seem that the handle will come off but it just has a little play

Best wok I have had for (1) suitable size: light weight and not big like 14″ wok so that it’s easy for people to handle/hold with one hand, especially for small family (two-to-three people) and elders; (2) very smooth surface of wok on both inside and outside by an excellent manufacturer makes wash/cleaning much easier; (3) heat evenly and quick. I have bought it and used it for a week, so far so good. Strongly recommend!

I bought this wok based on Amazon reviews and am quite happy with the selection. At first I was concerned that it might be too big, but I’m finding that having it big helps keep grease spatters within the vessel and off the stovetop. The carbon steel finish is a nice, no-fuss surface that keeps thing moving when stir frying and yet doesn’t require babying during clean up. The handle feels sturdy and the wood makes a nice grip that won’t get hot.Hot tip: Try the wok for frying tortilla chips. The wide rim keeps the mess contained!

Easy to clean.

Great wok. Flat bottom can go straight on the stove. The more you use it the more non stick it gets.
