The battery is finicky. Make sure you replace them with all new battery otherwise it won’t workIt does record your weight and easy to see your progress

Hey! I’m not THAT fat! Well, Maybe I am. Ok, so I sneak a few cookies. A truthful product.

I ordered this item and it arrived the very next day. Upon opening the box, I noticed that it came with a tape measure too! Which is an added bonus for someone like me trying to lose weight and gain muscle mass at the same time. The fabric tape measure will help me to measure inches lost. The scale is lightweight, and easy to use. I simply removed the plastic from around the batteries, which were included set it down, and stepped on. Highly recommend!

So, I have only had this scale for about a week now and I really like this scale so far.Prior to me purchasing this scale, I reached out to Etekcity’s support team to ask a few questions about the scale concerning the lack of an Athlete mode (more below). The support team responded stating that it currently doesn’t support it. However, a few days later, the kind people in the support team followed up stating that they would soon have a firmware update to support it! How many tech support teams do you know that have that kind of follow up?So, I purchased the scale. When I received it, I compared it to a gym’s calibrated scale for weight accuracy and my scale was spot on.I soon got a firmware update containing the “Athlete Mode” for body fat calculations. Based on how I look and my “calibrated” eyes. The “Athlete” mode calculation is a little low and the “Standard” mode calculation is a little high. Between the two though I feel it provides a rather good window of where I am and can track trends from there. So, the fact that this scale is accurate and displays weight in increments of 0.1lbs and has seeming good BF% calculations (I couldn’t any other scales that combined these two features). And don’t forget the great tech support. I am incredibly happy with this scale so far and would highly recommend it.I’ll follow up if anything changes.

Great scale, I liked it so much I bought a second one, I guess I’m a glutton for punishment, I’ll know I’m fat in two houses. But it is a great scale.

I wear a samsung watch everyday to track my steps, TDEE, etc. Unfortunately these watches only work with samsung health, so I was looking for a scale that would also work with samsung health. My old smart scale (from a different brand) worked great, but would not work with samsung health.I purchased this scale and it was fully setup within a few minutes. The setup process requires you to create an account (email and password is all it requires), connect the scale to your phone via bluetooth, connect scale to your home WiFi, then update the firmware. It does this all automatically through prompts on your phone. The setup is VERY easy and fast (took me 2-3 minutes). After the scale is setup, the app automatically asks if you want it to share data with any 3rd party apps (Google Fit, Samsung Health, etc.). I selected samsung health, it asks for permission to share data with that app, and that’s it.After weighing in, the data is available in the app within seconds and it also syncs immediately with the samsung health app.For anyone concerned about app permissions – the only permission this app asks for is location and, if you select a 3rd party app to share data with, it asks for permission to share that data. That’s it. It does NOT ask for access to text messages, your camera, or any other stupid things.Overall it seems great! My other scale and this scale read about 2 lbs different. I’m not sure which is more accurate but it’s close enough for me!

It’s not a very smart scale — it doesn’t know enough to lie to me so I can have a happy day! It seems to be kind of blunt and unfeeling in its’ honesty. (Stupid scale) I originally thought it was unbalanced by about 10 pounds, but another emotionless scale concurred with this non-bright scale. If you’re brave enough to want a scale in your house (in front of the fridge is a great location 🤣), this one is super simple, easy to read, and disappears with its see-thruedness. And it’s painfully honest. I can’t vouch for connectivity or app or whatever– to me it’s just a personal scale and I really, really don’t want it hacked! I do love the look and basic design of it, and it seems strong. Good enough for me.

I have been using this scale for 6 months with no problem. I did not drop it so I do not know if it shatters. We also have an older weight watchers one . The glass is much thicker and it did cost twice as much. I think for the money this scale is great and accurate, only .02 lbs difference between the two not bad

They are exactly as compact as they can be and still be useable. Accurate to within a pound at 250 lbs. Lighted easy to read display. Clean and moder look. Sturdy. All good!

I really like it. It’s very accurate. I have been using it for over a month and there have been no issues. Use on hardwood or tile floor for best results.
