This is actually my second pot like this because after years of regular use and mistreatment of the last, it needed to be replaced. I’m much better about not using metal spoons with this and that really helps. But this is all I use to make any kind of pasta. The twisted handle lid lock feature is simple but brilliant. Just don’t forget to lock the lid in place before draining (I’ve done that, and it’s a bummer).

The lock is fun to use. The pot itself is a bit thin, but it can hold very well. Good product.

Loving this pot. The lid works great for straining noodles. I really like the way the handles can turn to hold the lid in place as I pour the liquid out. No complaints and have had the pot for months. Would definitely recommend.

Back in the 90’s I used to see a commercial that showed this kind of pot that drained the water out after boiling. I always wanted one to help my mom cook and excitedly tell her when it was showing so she could buy it! Fast forward to 2021, my roommate had this and I promised myself I would get one myself after using it (stews really well too). Wrote the name down, 1+ year later, here it is! (Shockingly, Amazon was the lowest price it sells for online.) I completed my kitchen with this addition

For more than a year I had been thinking how great it would be to have homemade pasta. The first step was to research pots and this Gotham was the right size at the right price and the twist lock handles are very handy. I have never cooked spaghetti before this weekend. By following directions on the spaghetti box, my first attempt was very good. The pot worked great and I now have another meal to my short list of cooked meals. I am not a pot expect but for a beginner this is the perfect pot.

This pot does all pasta excellently, easy to clean and I love it! The locks are easy to lock and remove lock, and the coating on the inside of the pot is non burn – non stick.It just works!Worth the money!
