It takes a little bit more work in some situations, but for the most part even if you burn your food it will scrub off with bon ami or citric acid and leave the stainless steel shining. Good volume and heats up well, but don’t expect it to retain heat like a cast iron.

This is the best pot that I have ever used in my life. The size is perfect, it reaches boiling point very quickly, the handle is comfortable to the touch, it is very easy to clean, and it looks great.Because the handle is very thin, the weight of the pot is distributed unevenly, so it takes a skill to balance the pot while handling, but it is still a great pot.

Nice heavy, one handed sauce pan. Perfect for a pound of pasta or a bowl of popcorn. Nice and sturdy with a heavy bottom. I scorched something in it the other day and cleaned right up with a scrubby.I bought at a promotional price and the promotion worked! Even at full price, it is worth the money and competes with the much more expensive trendy brands.

Took a chance on this pot when needing to replace the old aluminum decommissioned pressure cooker (wedding gift from 50+ yrs ago?). Had some reservations, but am very pleased in all respects. Weight is manageable; well balanced; handle seems securely attached; well designed lid; shiny finish, cleans easily; heats well on flat-top electric stove.

I replaced a 4-qt pan of another brand — with the initials “WP.” The old one lasted twenty years and performed at the end of its life pretty much as it did when new. However, the Cuisinart is clearly a step up. The speed of heating up and even heat distribution are both remarkable. And if heavy is quality for such a saucepan/pot, this is it! It’s a Cuisinart boat anchor!

I needed a large saucepan. Very hard to find. I received it in perfect condition. It’s solid. I haven’t tried it out yet but it is a perfect size for soups and popcorn. I had one that lasted me for 43 years and believe me quality back then was a lot better than now so I was excited when I received this and felt how heavy it is. I bought a cuisinart bread maker a few years ago and that is going strong so hoping this pan meets a long term commitment with the cuisinart brand.

Less likely to burn sauces , homemade Mac n Cheese, build fond for flavor w/o burning. Solid construction. A must 4 qt for any kitchen.

This sauce pan is well made with rivets that go right through pan to hold the handle securely. It cooks evenly but is a little heavy for older people to handle.

Cuisinart cookware is durable and well worth the extra money. Heat distribution is great and it’s easy to clean. I clean the inside of my pots and pans with barkeepers friend to keep them looking like new. I hope my Cuisinart cookware lasts as long as my Revereware did – 45 years.
