At this price point, I didn’t expect high quality. Almost all of my skillets and pots are All-Clad. I bought this to fry chicken outdoors on a portable induction cooktop–and the base is dead flat! It appears to be well made and I expect to have it around for years. . . Seems to be a great bargain.

Okay, this pan was MUCH larger than we were anticipating. However, this makes it our go-to pan for larger one-pan meals and stir fry. With the larger size comes a heavier weight, but the second handle really helps to pick up the pan while there is food in it. This pan pairs really well with the matching 10-piece set, and it is so easy to clean! Burnt-on messes (when they happen) are a headache of the past because with these pans they are so easy to clean off. 10/10 would recommend, full send

I researched every brand of affordable non-stick cookware for over three days, before ordering this pan.I tried to find a heavier one-piece type of cookware, that had stainless steel bottoms, lids available for every item, no rivet heads or bolts inside, with heavy layers of a ceramic or granite for the non-stick coating, and comfortable non-slip sturdy handles. Carote came to the top of my list and they weren’t the cheapest or most expensive. I read more reviews and more evaluations from professional chefs than I care to remember.As with all products, you will get the occasional bad reviews about items damaged in shipping or from people that may not know that with the newer non-stick cookware, that you need to start cooking with Medium to Low heat, and NEVER go over Med-High, and only then for boiling just water or other liquids.The other issue is: Never, Ever use anything but Wood or Silicone utensils. Never use Metal or hard plastic.We started using the new pan, almost immediately, and tried it for many things: fried eggs, bacon, grilled cheese, pancakes, searing meat, frying and simmering meat, boiling liquids, and even a sauce with wine that had to have alcohol burned off. It performed perfectly! We always washed in dawn dishwater with a soft dish cloth. Only silicone utensils were used.There is not one flaw, no thinning of the coating, no burnt handles, and no peeling or material scratched off.A couple of days ago, I ordered 11 more pots/pans and they will be here tomorrow. I can’t wait to get rid of the various pots and pans that I have now…only a couple are bearable and I hate most of them.

I love everything about this pan, the size is huge which is great for large families, but I have used it when cooking for just my hubby and myself. It heats evenly, and clean up is a dream it is so easy. So far, after a few months of using the first one I purchased, I still have no complaints and ordered a second one (this one) for my son.

This pan is my second Carote purchase, and I just love it. It’s safe to use (which is very important to me), and works well with my induction hob. And it looks good too! I contemplated buying Le Creuset, but cast iron tends to be heavy. Carote is sturdy, has heat resistant handles, and is incredibly light to handle. I’d definitely buy again.
