10 reviews for Pro Hard Anodized PFOA-Free Nonstick 12″ Frying Pan Skillet Dishwasher Safe Oven Safe Stainless Steel Handle Black

  1. Jeremy Colton

I needed more cooking surface than the 10″ offers. Instead of buying a 12″ I bought a second one of these! Works GREAT this way. Technology has improved… these are far and away the best non-stick I have ever used. When the first four slices of French toast are done I stick the pan in the oven and finish the last two in the other pan. My eggs in one, her eggs in the other etc. Happy customer

  2. Adam Coffman

I bought this non-stick pan after getting fed up with the blue and green “non-stick” pans that any shlub can get at Wal-mart… if you want one that actually delivers, and will last – this is it. You don’t even need butter to cook eggs in it. Just treat it right, don’t use metal utensils on it, don’t put it in a dishwasher or lay it against other dishes or stack any other pans on it. Give it love… keep it in its own special place where nothing abrasive will touch the surface, and it will love you back, unlike your ex-spouse.

  3. Dipika

I like this pan for my daily use. I have used several non stock pans(usually I buy from Costco or TJMaxx) but they all lose the non stick layer after few uses. I have been using this pan for 3 weeks daily in making scrambled eggs. Omlette, French toast, toasts, etc but each time, it comes out smoothly from the pan. I plan to buy bigger sizes since I have tried and tested 8” size. It’s not pricey nor cheap material. Definitely recommend.

These pans sit flat on our glass stove, handle feels perfect without getting hot, does beautiful job of even cooking. But OXO, please make a glass/clear lid that has a vent hole and will go in the oven to fit your pans as there is there is obviously a market! I bought the 8 and 10 inch sizes. Have started cold start cooking and these pans measure up. My stove is old, but cooked sausage patties as directed on package and the timing was spot on. Very easy to clean! Have emphasized to my dish washer (yes, he does the dishes!) not to use Pam and clean gently. I did find a lid for my 8″ that is perfect for this pan from Amazon.

  5. Sandra Larsen

I am loving this fry pan. The fact that it doesn’t contain the harmful substances in most nonstick pans was the reason I purchased it. It is very lightweight but also substantial. Cleaning is a breeze. I wish I had a whole set.

  6. Alvin Arnold

Absolutely worth the money and an excellent small pan. Very high quality. Of course time will tell how long the coating last but for now, it’s great.

  7. Ranger 231

I just recently received the two 12″ frying pans that I ordered. I have to say, they work great and are well worth the money. They are super slick, fry well, and clean up with just a paper towel. My personal feeling in buying nonstick frying pans is it’s not like your purchasing a family heirloom or something. If you can get a year or so out of them count yourself lucky, then throw they away and go buy another one. These pans work VERY well… Go get a couple, you won’t be sorry.

  8. Captain Bad

I have both the 8″ and 10″ nonstick pans and they are fantastic. Perfectly flat with good, even heat distribution. Food slides off with ease, and they wipe clean with almost no effort. The handles are large and sturdy and they control the pan exceptionally well. We love OXO products and these pans are among their best.

I’m about to order my second one of these after using the first one regularly as my main frying pan for almost 4 years. It started deteriorating a couple of months ago.I probably could have gotten more time out of it but someone else used it a couple of times on high heat on a stove where medium is really hot.Tips for long life after owning a few types of pans like these (this being the best of the bunch):1. Hand wash it gently with a cloth or sponge, avoid using a scouring pad. It’s easy to clean since almost everything will come off with a the sprayer if you have decent water pressure. It says dishwasher safe, and it is, but it will shorten the life of the pan’s coating.2. Never use anything above medium heat. Just about anything you want to cook in a frying pan will probably cook better at that setting anyway, unless you’re trying to get a sear, in which case this isn’t the right pan anyway.3. Don’t heat it with nothing in it. At least have a light coating of oil or butter in the pan if you pre-heat it.4. Like with all coated pans, use soft spatulas, etc. Don’t use any metal utensils. OXO makes some decent quality spatulas as well.If you take care of the pan, it will keep working really well for a long time.

  10. quentin

I love how slick this pan is. I can cook eggs and basically just run hot water on the pan and it comes out 90% clean with no debris left. It holds onto heat decently well. It’s not stainless steel and certainly not a cast iron, but it’s got a great balance between heat conducting and heat holding. As a reminder: don’t put this pan on the heat without there being SOMETHING in the pan, oil, butter, water, etc. The teflon coating will start to peel at 450 and it will get to that temperature FAST if there’s nothing in the pan to absorb that heat. And definitely don’t put this thing in the dishwasher under any circumstances despite what the manufacturer says. It will ruin the pan, plus this thing is super easy to clean because nothing gets baked on.
