   This seat is an exact match and with any colored bathroom items, you better get a back up replacement while they are available. We have five bathrooms and trying to find replacement toilet seats has been a challenge. Order arrived early, in perfect condition and was very easy to install even though the mounting is different, and better, then my original. Great product and reasonably priced. And I ordered another just in case.

   SO easy to install, enables you to remove seat so easily if you want to clean every area on your toilet. These Bemis seats have held up better than any I have ever tried. I replace them every 2 years anyway.

   The mounting system is great. Read other reviews for instructions. Follow those & pay attention to doing the things all the way. Just like a door: if you don’t latch it, it will swing.I’ve found it certainly doesn’t stain easily. It is capable of getting dirty, and should be cleaned regularly; it will easily go back to white. I don’t think I should have to further explain that toilet seats should be cleaned.It is also sturdy. The heaviest person in my house weighs about 220 lbs, and we’ve had zero durability concerns. I’m not sure about heavier people because I’m not keen on the idea of asking the big neighbor down the street to take my toilet seat for a test run. That just seems too weird for the neighborly relationship.Last, it comes in a box that is absolutely perfect for reuse in gag gifting! It looks like something classy while wrapped, then turns hard south when the paper comes off.

   Although I have installed these seats before my brother put this one on for me. He was crazy about the install. He said it went on so fast. The fastest seat he has ever put on. He went on and on about how easy and sturdy the seat is. I have used it for a week now and the seat is very sturdy. Much sturdier than the seat that came with my toilet. It feels very solid and the seat top is very solid. I am obsessive about keeping my seat down and sit on the seat daily. I am impressed at how it stays put and doesn’t slip like my last seat. I have a bidet attachment and didn’t need extra pads.

   I bought this seat because it was a great deal I couldn’t pass up. My other seat broke off the hinge so I needed to replace it. Amazon offered a discount on it because the box was a little damaged from either shipping or in the warehouse. It may have even been a return but it was greatly discounted. The seat was in the original packaging with all pieces individually closed. I have a handicap toliet and it was easy to assemble even with the arthritis I had in my hands. This seat is durable even with me slide boarding on and off the toilet. It has also been easy to clean. I would recommend the brand to anyone who is handicap.

   This is a great item for the price, I made the mistake of buying a $90 seat from a well known company on here that was flimsy plastic & the latches broke within 2 years and scratched badly. This wood seat is well made, fits well, non slippery and is sturdy!!The only issue I’ve had is some toilet bowl cleaner drops got on lid and left permanent white spots, took the color right off. So use CAUTION with strong cleaners. Luckily I bought light gray for a black toilet as they didn’t have black lids, as I imagine the damage showing up on black would be a disaster!Otherwise this is a great bargain seat!

   It’s a nice seat. My husband and I were forced to replace our bidet attachment and I figured it had been the previous plastic seat (which still looked nice and functioned fine) was the cause of our misfortune with our broken bidet. We think it slid or shifted and caused a crack in the bidet, which attaches to the toilet under the seat. I wanted something sturdy, that looked nice, that wasn’t too expensive. This seat is all that. It’s good and heavy, but it did not come with instructions. Which you wouldn’t think that’d be an issue, because to quote me last night: “Baby, it’s JUST a freaking toilet seat!” right? I guess I’d never seen one that the bolts snap into. The bolts are plastic and you do not need to have the seat on the toilet when you screw them down. Which my husband figured out before I did because the seat itself was kind of in the way. So we mounted the bidet, used the bolts to secure it and snapped the seat down onto the bolts. Not quite easy peasy, everyone hates changing a toilet seat, but I think it was as easy as it could be. All the box lacked was a diagram showing the user the bolts go down first, THEN the seat. So it’s a good sturdy feeling seat. I haven’t felt it shift at all and I feel like it protects the bidet unit better than our old one.You might think I’m dumb having not noticed how the bolts worked, but when my husband finished with the bidet, it was leaking everywhere… I fixed it. Might not recognize a snapping toilet seat when I see it, but I know now to Teflon tape and properly cross-thread a pipe.

   DO NOT pay attention to the bad reviews! Those are folks that know nothing about installing a toilet seat! This is quality made and it’s so easy to install my 3 year old niece could do it! I LOVE the lock/unlock feature of this, it’s going to make cleaning up after these boys that can’t aim a breeze! The round seat fit my round bowl perfectly, just install the pins, pop the caps on and use some strong hands to turn into the lock position, Viola, your done! Took me literally 4 minutes to install. I will be buying another for second bathroom! Great purchase for me!

   Beautiful blue finish perfectly matched my blue porcelain toilet. I suggest downloading the pdf instructions just to have a look (none come with the product). The easy “twist on/twist off” hinge covers could be a bit befuddling even if you’ve installed many toilet seats over the decades. The “twist on/off” hinge covers makes it easy to remove and replace for deep cleaning-no messing with bolts And nuts. Sturdy, solid, and easy to install. Highly recommend.

    Well made, heavy and sturdy, easy to install and fit perfect. The only thing you have to be very careful about is what you use to clean it because some products will damage the finish! Be sure to follow the manufacturers instructions, my fault I did not! I learned that lesson the hard way, I used a disinfecting wipe and it discolored the seat in spots where it was left to dry. I imagine it took the top sealer coat off and if I continued to clean with the same product the paint will be next 🙁
